leak source found. help to fix.
On my 99 I've been having a flooded driver side floor. Using a hose discovered it was the drivers side cowl drain hole. Its running down there and into my floor AND the door through the rubber wire conduit from body to door. I unplugged the rubber tube so water would stop goin into my door, but then I took off the wipers and the cowl vent and its a tiny hole off to the side, I don't see how I can fix this. The hole didn't look plugged so it must be somewhere down in there...

You may have to take off the dash to trace. I'm not familiar with t e system to give you an official answer, but if there is a drain hole it seems likely there may be a hose connected to the other side. Maybe it rusted or fell off?
If it is that small, a bug could have clogged it. Perhaps try some bailing wire gently down the hole?

Idk why this is such a frequent problem with theses trucks... my 2001 has the same issue except on the passenger side...but here is the thing, it will only leak into the cab if I'm park on a slope.. I.e. my driveway...shortly there is a trapped hole in either side and used to be filled with some type of caulk, mine was anyway. All I did was plug it with a small rubber stopper, there are many other ways for the water to get out.I will however take the vent of and check out every so often just to make sure it's not picking and rusting
