After reading the most recent thread from the past few days and watching the bleepinjeep youtube video I think I can handle the job on my own instead of paying $800-1100 I have been quoted at a couple of local places.
Couple of questions though:
1 - Where is the best place/reasonable to get oem stock Springs and all of the hardware?
2 - Would you replace anything else while I'm in the middle of the springs? Shocks were replaced a week ago and the front coils will be next.
Thanks!

I have roughly 20 hours of labor tearing out s10 leafs, making the bastard pack, removing the xj leafs, drilling out the main leaf (take them to a shop, it's $10-$20, or use a press, I went through 4 drill bits with a normal plug-in drill), then installing the bastard pack.
Hardware, just use all the stock stuff. Any more leafs than I have and you will need longer ubolts.
I recommend just buying prebuilt leaf packs with the lift you want. I didn't do that so I can't tell you which websites are the cheapest..

Your better off just buying aftermarket leafs unless you have a junk yard around you to pick them up cheap. It will end up costing the same amount to just buy the oem leafs new. Just my .02

By all means just buy aftermarket I bought mine from Rustys Off Road Coils and Leaf/usually best price also. Been a year and zero sag I have been very happy with them and used them for a recent upgrade from 3-4 1/2". Some of his products come into question but 98% of them are from people that have never a single item of his. Found that out several months ago on a post I made and most all were third hand

I'll second Rockauto for stock replacement, they don't have what you want try 4wheelparts or quadratec.
Plan to have to CUT the front bolts out. So buy new ones. May also need to cut out that welded nut.. When you put the shackle bolt back in insert from the outside, nut on the inside.
