Default Lcd's in your visor

Who knows someone who has done this? I'm interested in the process & a proper set of visors for the job.

Cheers,
Art

Have you seen anyone on the forums have them installed? Any recommendations would be great before I go buy randoms.

It's hooking up the rest of the surround sound system, that would be the hard part.

You would have to wire it to the speakers somehow, or through the head unit.

If you wire it to the speakers, you would have to run all custom wire and have a bypass switch for the headunits speaker outs.

If you go through the HU you will have to use a AUX plug and deal with extra wires and no Ipod.

My sound system is already set up for surround sound. I used a 5 channel 1400 watt amp. And my head unit is actually a sound processor. With 6 RCA outputs in the back. It's a Pioneer DEH P90 HDD. When it came out in 2000, It listed for $1800. I bought a refurbished one in 2005 for $500. Because I am waiting for the prices of a Pioneer AVN1 to drop. when they came out in 2006, they listed for $2300. That is a CD/DVD/Nav unit. With a 7" drop down touch screen. I put two 5 1/4" (full range, three way) speakers in the front doors, two 6x9's (full range, three way) speakers in the rear hatch. And a 10" sub in the rear passenger side pocket. Speakers are all Rockford fosgates. And my Head unit controls everything, Freg. to each speaker, time delay, Auto eg., etc. All with a touch of the remote from the drivers seat. Plus it has a built in Hard drive, Holds 160 hrs. of music in WMA format. Not MP3. Any CD player in it, It records and stores it. It sounds great, like a concert hall. I love it.

i have a double din pioneer touch screen in mine with gps and all that stuff.. to hook up that screen to the deck, you just need a deck with aux in or rca in... just know if you do it that way, it will only play what your deck is playing.. and your deck wont play a movie while driving unless you ground out the right wire on something that is always powered. you can run those to a dvd player under your seat or something though (with no sound). Im pretty sure you can get a adapter to turn it into any kind of cable you need..
