I replaced my LCA bushings about a month ago after noticing that the bushing on the passenger side (axle end) had slipped out of the control arm. The bushing(s) were all a PITA to press in but yesterday I noticed that the same LCA has once again become detached from the bushing. This leads me to believe that the control arm bore has been stretched to a point where it will no longer hold the bushing.
After that unnecessarily long story, I'd like to hear your opinions on what I should do. Should I replace with stock arms? Will ZJ control arms fit my '89? Are there aftermarket options that are reasonably priced? Do I need to replace the UCAs at the same time? I'm currently lifted about 2.5 inches using ZJ springs and 1.75" coil spacers and spend most of my off-road time on rutted trails and logging roads, not rocks or boulders.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
