Default KYB Mono-Max Shocks and Steering Damper

Jus ordered some front and rear KYB Mono-Max shocks for my '98 Limited 4x4. I also ordered their KYB SS15345 - Steering Stabilizer kit. KYB site says it is for 4x4 with Dana 30 front axle. It is different looking than the run-of-the-mill OEM replacement stabilizer. I am hoping it comes with instructions, but wanted to ask if I got the right kit. I am thinking it is something akin to the the upgraded kits offered by some others online.

This is the kit. Says it fits my '98/Limited.

Amazon Amazon

Thanks...
Nate

It's one size "fits" (maybe) all.

Looks pretty universal, but I found nothing on installing it. > http://www.jegs.com/i/KYB/575/SS15345/10002/-1 < Lower on the page is "vehicle fitment" That's three pages of what it fits..

I'm running the Mono-Max shocks and black stabilizer set. If an XJ came w/o a stabilizer you would use the mounting kit model. Otherwise the black stabilizer is a direct replacement for the oem one. Even if yours has no stabilizer on it check to see if the mounts for one are there. One end mounts to a bracket welded to the passenger side of the axle housing and the other to the steering linkage.

Mine has a OEM stabilizer on the Limited. This one mounts to the Dana 30 axle, so that is the reason I got it. Does have instructions and they say to uninstall your OEM stabilizer before upgrading to the Dana 30 mount. Here is a pic of it
