knocking noise around manifold
I have a knocking noise coming from under the manifold on the drivers side. When I originally had it inspected, the tech said that it may be the cat leaking. I have an exhaust leak somewhere from the engine and have not found it yet. The knocking sounds like it could be a gasket leak. I am hoping that is all that it is. I was wondering that since it has good compression and is not leaking any oil or losing power, if there is something wrong with the engine more than this? Ideas would be great.
