So lately I have had this knocking noise coming from under my jeep when ever I turn. I am fairly certain its the front drive shaft thats messed up again and is wobbling. Could it be the drive shaft or something else binding up?

is it a constant banging through out the turn or is it just a single bang at the begining of the turn

Hello mwdouglas, what is the problem if its a constant banging through out the turn or when backing up? I have searched everywhere but cannot seem to find an answer. Could it be the u-joints?

if its a constant noise than its either the ujoints in the axle or could be ujoints in the drive shaft getting in a bind if its not a constant like mine does than it could be the uca bushings are worn out like mine are

Thanks, I think I might have to replace the u-joints this weekend.
