when coasting at low speed (less than 10mph) there is sometimes a knocking coming from the front end. it only happens when i coast really slow, like after a red light before i hit the gas. any ideas what this could be? once i hit the gas it completely goes away and drives fine.

 

Could be a valve thats not seating correctly. Start with a valve job. Go from there.
