ok so i bought a new keyless entry remote and went to the dealer to have them program it for me. My xj is a 2000 so they have to plug into the computer to get a code to program the remote. However, they could not connect to the computer inside my jeep. They said that the wires were either coroded or broken somewhere. It is not worth it for me to pay them $100+ for keyless entry, but if it is something that i can fix then it would totally be worth it.. so anyone know anything about this stuff.
