Keyless entry on a 95?
My 95 Cherokee sport has the bulb looking thing on the roof kind of in its own spot where the overhead console would go. Now I when I bought my cherokee I didnt get a little remote. So I have a question.
Where can I get 1 that will work? Will the remote from my 97 work with my 95 if i try to program it? Or do I have to take stuff from the 97 and try to put it on the 95?
I kind of think having key-less entry would be nice. Just because when my doors are locked and I have people that are going to ride with me its not always easy to get all the doors unlocked.
Thanks

I removed the dome on my 97. And I then thought why not look at the 95 also. What the hell? Its the same plug???
SO because from the EBAY research ive done. I wont get TOO much cash for the 97 remote AND the 97 dome/receiver... Do you think if I plug it in it might work?
BTW IF I was to sell the remote AND the dome from the 97 how much could I get? I mean IF i was to sell it to a noob on ebay?

Welcome to the forum.
The topic is six years old. They might have arrived at a solution in the interim.
There is a VERY easy user procedure for programming remotes to that model year vehicle.
