Keeps Falling on its face.....
Hmm mine started shortly after I replaced my heater core, in doing that I had all kinds of junk disconected and drained the A/C as well. I just assumed it was my O2 because it has been broken for awhile and the wires are not even connected anymore.... unfortunitly this is my daily driver so I'm in a tight spot

mine is doing this as well. it starts up, then dies. i start it again, and it runs ok until i am at a stop. then it stalls. i start it, it dies, i start it again, and same thing as earlier. my rpm is only about 500 to. HELP PLEASE!
i dont have such a low idle but the rest is about the same. my plan is to hit up the wrecking yard this weekend and fill my pockets with every sensor that i can find lol but im hoping that the O2's are the ticket.

Just an update, installed o2 sensors last night, did the batt disconect . road tested twice and so far no problems all seems good. I did find a very small amount of green corrosion in the harnessside of the front o2 plug...... wasn't enough of a problem to ever turn on the check engine lamp
, Oh well i think it is fixed now!
short summary of what was done:
1. complete tune-up
2. cleaned throttlebody (and IAC)
3. replaced TPS
4. replaced Crankshaft position sensor
5. replaced both o2 sensors (oem from dealer)
The o2 sensors seem to be the best repair yet..... I'll let you know if the mileage improves.
Happy jeepin!!!

Sounds like the same issue I am having, let me try to explain my symptoms.
Cold start, drive off, 25-50% throttle and it feels like spark or fuel cutoff, just dead, but still running enough so that when it fires again, it pops a little (I assume because of unburnt gasses in the cylinder) and then takes off, sometimes I have to pump the accelerator to get it going, but it never dies.
Another really weird thing is that if I just start it cold and let it idle in park, after a few minutes it starts really running strange, and slow, not quite rough, low idle, just seems like it is struggling, and it sounds like the cylinders have no oil, hard to explain but that's what it sounds like, and then I blip the throttle and it comes back to normal.

In Texas at Orielly's I bought both a TPS ($68.00) and a upstream o2 ($56.00) and priced a downstream ($60.00). I only ended up using the new upstream and just stuck a used downstream on mine. Took the TPS back. These are BOSCH oem replacements.
