i hope i dont mess up the TB when i hit it w/ carb cleaner, yea the sp was a joke. my plan is to take it off entirely (i dont wanna do the manifold.. by myself..) and remove all TPS and IAC sensors, but how do i wanna go about doing this right? ive been trying to get rid of this incredibly annoying hesitation and this seems like a cheaper was to reesolve it.. im down to replacing the coil, o2 sensor, and then.. fuel pump (like 200 new..) THANKS GUYS

I only sprayed the inside of my throttle body and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush (it had a thick dark ring around the inside). I didn't spray anything on the outside and it wasn't running. Once I got the inside nice and shiny (several sprayings/brushings) I put the inlet hose/tube back on it and started it up.

Good luck with yours. I was amazed at how dirty mine was and its effect on the way it ran. My IROC has almost twice the miles on it and I've never sprayed carb cleaner in/around the throttle body on it. But if you've got to do it, you've got to do it.
