JY lift identification...
Found a lift on a xj but its not sitting on the ground... Its got rectangle lowers... No uppers... No sway bar stuff... Red springs... Rancho 5000 shocks... AAL rear... Stock brake lines?
Any ideas on brand? probable size? Im thinking 3.5 and no idea of brand... Lol... Dont want the rear I know but may pull the front, aluminum step bars, tow hooks, skids off it...
thanks!

I have the rectangular lowers on mine as well. I have no idea who made it . Mine look like rancho's but identification is worn off. When I measured mine it was 3.5". I know its not for sure but I don't have any info on mine other than the measurements I took. On a side note i did the same thing for cup holders in mine. Just ordered some boat/rv cup holder inserts and used a hole cutout drill bit and dropped them in. Works great.

not 100% but pretty damn positive older rancho kits ran rectangular lowers....and the rancho shocks and red springs would lead me to believe it is a rancho kit.
those parts look pretty old so its a safe bet the AAL is worn out, the coils and LCAs would be a good grab....the shocks could be debatable, you would need to pull em out and give em a feel to see how they are

yeah i was thinking of just grabbing the springs and arms... my comanches front skid was lost in a tornado just before i bought it and i wanted to get another one to get it back stock... this ones got it... this jeep also has the factory tow hooks and tow package (but it didnt have the d44 was the right year for it too.. ) i was gonna grab the side steps to resale but dont think it would make nothing on them... the lift and tow hooks are going on the MJ for sure though... and the skid... im gonna pull as many 97+ intakes while im there tomorrow as well... there was 5 or 6... plenty of folks on here wanting them... hate to see the crushed... i grabbed on today that someone took out to get the ex manifold out... was pissed to see they didnt pull the back bolt and broke it off... i was excited too... lol
