so i have a 95 xj with the 4.0 and i have had it straight piped for quite some time and it had always backfired.. just when u throttle in nuetral or on occasion when u hammer it down.. is this normal? but it did this also when i had stock exaust on.. also it may be straight pipe but it sound alot quieter now and honestly cant really hear it in the cab too much with the windows up.. i may just be used to it or maybe it really has toned itself down? i dont know what do u guys think.
