And I am getting a quick squeak on the right side after releasing the brake pedal. What is causing this?

Could be your calipers squeaking as they retract.

There are two different rotors you can get for the XJ. If its the wrong one, it can cause this problem and drive you crazy. Before you change pads again and lube every moving part, put the new rotor next to the old and compare. I finally found the right one at oreillys. Sorry I don't have a part number

What are the differences between the 2 that I will notice when comparing? I did compare before they were put on and they seemed the same. I did grease all the slider pins and other recommended areas. The brand of pads and rotors are Wagner.

IIRC it's the thickness of the metal around were the lug nuts go through

The 2 rotors are blatantly different shapes. You would have noticed.

So are we back to the calipers making noise as they retract? Is there somewhere to grease to help fix this?

I wouldn't use grease, rather graphite, think lead pencil.

Chances are you'll see a small polished area to "lube."

Permatex makes a brake-specific high temperature lubricant for this

Where do I apply this? On the actually caliper piston itself? So basically taking it apart again, and lubing the piston that is sticking out after I take the pad out?

Sorry, first brake job here.

It could also be the rear brake shoes squeaking on the backing plates as they retract.

This specific noise started as soon as I replaced the front brakes so wouldn't I have heard it prior?

Maybe, maybe not. It may be worth checking out though.
