Just to make sure...
I always get confused with these oils, which one is for the gear box, and which one is for the 4WD box? Thanks ...

edit: by gear box i thought you meant steering gear box. if you mean transmission, it's Dexron/Mercon III, not ATF. same goes from the transfer case. so both of those i think are wrong for the XJ. someone can correct me if i'm wrong about the t-case, but i'm sure about the tranny fluid.

Arab1970,
You should specify what Jeep you have. Is it a Cherokee XJ body?
What year is it?
What transmission you have. Is it an AW4 automatic transmission?
And, what transfer case you have.

I wouldn't recommend either of those fluids you show.
The AW4 transmission should be serviced with Dexron III/Mercon fluid and the transfer case can use the same fluid. Dexron II was superseded by Dexron III. Do not use straight Mercon.
Deron III/Mercon can be found by many manufacturers, often labeled as DEX/MERC.
Typical brands shown, other brands available:

I always use the VIN when I buy parts, I'll see if it will work.
