i was recently in an accident and my 98 cherokee was total'd. recently bout a 96 for 1000 bucks. so my first post about her is gonna be the weird idle that i have never experienced in 3 years of owning a cherokee. well she idles mint but when i put it in drive the idle will constantly slow then speed up till i give it gas. lost help would be great.

I'd get a bottle of throttle body/carb cleaner and clean up your throttle body and Idle Air Control.

Another thing that helped with my low idle was a bottle of BG44K in your tank. Worked for my low idle when throttle body/IAC cleaning and seafoam (in throttle body and gas tank) didn't.
