Enthusiast? Of what? NGK Spark plugs and rotella oil? Seriously folks. You can have your silly forum back. Now, you may resume your debate over the insignificant differences of routine maintenance materials. Just one observation: these are not complicated high tech performance machines. I would almost understand your "enthusiasm" if you were on the Ferrari forum. These are old AMC engineered jeeps. They would probably run on canola oil if needed.

I know what it is. You have a dry spell don't you. Girl or guy mad you drive a jeep. Withholding sex. Sucks for you. Go drink and chill out there youngin

No they aren't high tech performance machines, but they are still a performance machine and they still need fuel, oil and maintenance done to them in order to run, especially the I6 engine. We the Jeep ENTHUSIAST want our engines to run the best that they can and last a long time so we find the best products to suit the I6 engine. So go trade in the vehicle that you own now and get a new Cherokee, seems like it would suit you better.

Back on the subject now I like the iridium ones way more than the v-tech NGK's

sycoglitch 04-13-2014 06:06 PM

Im willing to try the irradiums from NGK if enough ppl back it since NGK is spec. Ill be up for changing soon enough. Either v tech or irradiums

rootripper 04-13-2014 06:43 PM

I don't doubt they work but I do question their value. I wouldn't stick anything that expensive into my 4.0L unless I had a good way to clean 'em.

I have a drool cup AND use NGK coppers. :( I don't have a helmet though... maybe that's part of my problem.

Helmet? What in the world would you use a helmet for? :dunno: Besides puking in.

Oh my god! Get a life ppl! It's just spark plugs! Spark plugs! Most ppl buy any reasonably priced brand, install them and forget about them till the maintenance is due again. And guess what? All of the major brands work just fine. NG effin' K's are not going to be noticeably different than any other major brand. The way some would claim, you put those bad boys in your XJ and you'll be taking down 911's in the quarter. Find something more interesting to debate.

Needs this ..........

I tried to replace my spark plugs and I had to have my mechanic buddy use his welder! It took 16 hours!!!!

Well, if I had a helmet when my mother dropped my on my head, I wouldn't have such a drooling problem.

Sheesh.

Well... still beats owning a Ford Triton.

I used Champions in my '98 (standard copper 748 I think), but I need to swap them out when its warm enough to feel my fingers again.
I think I will give these NGK Iridium's a go the next time around.
