Well, back to the plugs.

NGK Iridium. Last plug you will ever need. Probably.

I wouldn't run Champion plugs even in my lawnmower. Worst. Plug. Ever.

Fram must make them.

Tell that to this guy

Let me guess.

Richard Petty.

Or his son.

In either case, he must have done it himself. Because it is upside down on his leg.

Fail.

Pretty good artwork, though.

All of the major brands work just fine. NG effin' K's are not going to be noticeably different than any other major brand. The way some would claim, you put those bad boys in your XJ and you'll be taking down 911's in the quarter. Find something more interesting to debate.

Wow...............sounds like somebody needs some Xanax.

Used Iridiuims in my quads but never my Jeeps. Interesting, as I am a huge NGK fan.

Next time you change your plugs, go to Iridiums. So far, mine have been flawless. No drama. Just the way I like things.

I've got too many other things on my plate without worrying about cheap plugs.

How long do you leave them in? Longer than the 30K mile recommended interval?

I just went back and read your previous posts. That's quite a collection of smart arse remarks.

Keep it up and i think the Mods will give you a one-way ticket back to Pirate 4X4.com

You're very intuitive, Ken.

100,000+ miles.

Iridium is extremely hard and does not wear. It's harder than platinum, and those plugs have a 100,000 mile change interval.

I do use anti-seize when I put in long-life plugs, however. Just in case they ever have to come out, for me or a subsequent owner.

Enthusiast? Of what? NGK Spark plugs and rotella oil? Seriously folks. You can have your silly forum back. Now, you may resume your debate over the insignificant differences of routine maintenance materials. Just one observation: these are not complicated high tech performance machines. I would almost understand your "enthusiasm" if you were on the Ferrari forum. These are old AMC engineered jeeps. They would probably run on canola oil if needed.

Don't let the door hit you in the arse.
