Just about everything replaced and/or checked
1993 i6 4x4 131k
Replaced
Apn header, cat, muffler, battery/terminals/grounds, alternator, motor mounts, tps, cps, ivac, surp belt, fuel pump and filter, radiator, t stat, water pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, valve cover gasket, coil, 703 injectors, and all vacuum hoses. As stated just about everything that can be swapped was done and things that needed to be cleaned, cleaned.
This damn jeep won't idle properly. I've had all parts tested with a volt meter to double check specs, everything checks ok. Only thing left is the MAP sensor or computer.
She drives fine while in gear, but soon as I put her in N or P, 1800 rpm. Honestly I've searched and read everything I can find and my only other option is the dealership. Since almost everything has been touch how bad can they really rape me?
I'm at my wits end, I have 2 buddies that are SEASONED mechanics on this, one 18yrs at Nissan, if that means anything and the other a dude I know can fix just about anything but this jeep has both of them stumped...
Jeep gods, I beg of you show me the way
Anybody have any bright ideas?? I'm sure I missed some things I've cleaned, replaced, or checked and rechecked.

Did you check for vacuum leaks? Sounds like you might have one. Or perhaps an IAC that is stuck or non-functional? Did you have the idle problem before replacing parts?
What year and engine?

Yes I've replaced 3 ivacs, 2 parts store and 1 dealer. I've been so focused on keeping her running now that I have that issue corrected I'm on to the idle.

Did You also take a good look at the vacuum ball under you bumper for cracks? If not just something to look at. That does suck that you put so much time and money in her and she still doesn't idle right.
I'll take a hard look at it, I know I've taken it off when replacing the bumper but never paid it any mine to be honest.
Thanks!
