Jeep wont start

I tried to jiggle the shifter in both park and neutral both before and while I was trying to start it and it still won't even crank.

Probably not the NSS then, usually they give some warning before crapping out completely. Do you have access to wiring diagrams & a DMM? Start tracing to & from the ignition switch.

I will have to get my dmm from my Dad's house, and I guess I can find a wiring schematic on here if I search, or maybe in the back of my Haynes manual. I will let you know what I find.
