Now before you destroy that mount with drill and hammer, TAKE IT OFF the frame, (two bolts on the side and two on the bottom).
Then put it in a vise with a big socket on the broken side so that the rod can slide in the socket once you close the vise.

Its just my luck man.

I broke two vise's trying to pop the rod out with a socket.

I went and picked up a new bracket from the pull a part and stopped by a 4wd center and got a rod end.

The only problem i have now is the cotter pin will not go in the castle nut. Its got some major torque on it but the hole on the bolt isnt anywhere near where it needs to be height wise. I had a jack under the rod with some wood on the rod and tapped the mount to get the rod to get into the hole. It seems like its exactly where it needs to be except for the cotter pin not going in.

I know i cannot run that without the cotter pin in it. Any suggestions?

Took it out for a drive, my steering wheel is not centered, tires dont look like they are aligned, and anything other than LIGHT pressure on the brakes will lock them up.

I really dont know what to do now. I dont know why the brakes are giving me problems now.

I should have just left the damn thing alone.

should i just take it back apart and reset the axle?

if the axle looks more to the passenger side do i need to thread the rod end in?

the passenger side tire looks toed out more also. I dont really know how the track bar could have messed with the alignment that bad. Maybe it was just the forward motion pushing that tire out more since the axle is out of center?

Tighten or unscrew that little more to allign the holes.

Did it rain in these days? did the rotors get wet? How's your abs? pads?

DISCOURAGEMENT IS NOT ACCEPTED HERE!!
The track bar has nothing to do with the brakes..
hould i just take it back apart and reset the axle?
NO! why?...

Now that's thinking, yes, do it.

That is just an optical illusion because of the axle being out of center and the fender has a little convergent curvature, you should have an allignment done when you're done, or you can do it yourself with a little of inventive....

Im going to reset the track bar tonight and see whats going on after that.
I have done alignments on my mustangs before and both came out great. I guess i will attempt this one too.

i just dont understand why ALL 4 corners of the brakes are working wayyyyy to well all of a sudden.
