Hello, I am new to this community and am happy to be here. My 2001 Cherokee was stolen out of a gated parking lot a couple of months ago....still waiting to get it repaired...sitting at garage due to miscommunication with garage and insurance co. The jerks used a screw driver to start it (they left it in the car - nice) and busted her through a fence - the horrible screeching sound woke me up...it was found a couple of days later abandoned but almost 4K in damage. She was running great before this...supposedly no suspension damage done (after going through the fence it was driven over a large cement curb) but I am wondering if I have problems after it's repaired, then what? Are there any questions I can arm myself when I go to pick it up at the garage and certain things to listen for when I test drive it before signing anything?

 

Ask somebody to check repairs.

 

Change ALL of the fluids.
