Well I see a couple of threads but again not really my issue.
1 I replaced the battery and some times my Jeep grunts to start.
2 When in a cold start the engine runs only at idle never a tick up like the wifes car. I had this happen once on a Honda and it actually affected the way it ran. this doesn't affect it but it takes a while longer to warm up.
Thanks Guys
Merry Christmas

My starter does the same thing every time, regardless of temperature, the only thing that changes is the rate at which it does this: "dunna dunna dunna vrrnnnnnn" and then it settles itself out. Engines cranking over slower in colder weather is perfectly normal. Just give them a chance to warm up before you drive.

Yeah, my general rule of thumb is that if its below 35-40 degrees out, let it run for about five minutes before you drive it. And part of the sluggish start is the additives in our gas now, they do that at a lower temperature. And if you start it in the cold, and don't run it for more than 5 minutes and shut it off, don't expect to get it started back up right away. LOL.
