Jeep Stalls and shuts down in Stop and Go Traffic
2000 XJ New Engine, new plugs, CrankShaftPosition Sensor, ThrottlePositionSensor -engine totally replaced after finding blown piston at 160k miles. Jeep drives great until stuck in stop and go highway traffic, then stalls out. Must turn off key, put in park and restart (all while sitting in a left or right lane on a busy highway) Jeep does start right up, idle feels fine, no codes, gauges are all good. TPS was just replaced. Even had heat shields put in cylinders (re; recall) And Jeep has new replaced header (re; that mishap with Chrysler manufacturing and selling defected headers in XJs)
Any Ideas? Mechanic now thinks its an issue with the manual settings on the throttle plates. Thanks
