Rebuilding the passenger side power seat as was wondering how to load the existing torsion springs front and rear. Thank you.

 

Attached find a pic of the spiral torsion spring. How do I go about installing spring? When I removed them they were pretty tightly wound. Thank you.

 

With a face shield is probably a good bet.

My only suggestion would be a pair of vice grips half on, half off the center of the coil and another pair clamped on at 90 degrees if possible for leverage. Place the outer edge in position, twist and locate the center.
