My 89 (avatar picture) is rough looking but when I bought it a couple years ago the previous owner handed me a folder with ever maint record/receipt in it from when it was new. Been taken care of and runs great. I bought 4-hole injectors but don't want to swap them because it runs so well now.

 

^ +1 I'm in the same boat as you. We picked up our 00 XJ from my wife's mother. She was the original owner, and put 59k by the time we took ownership in '13. She literally gave us a folder with everything ever done to the Jeep. I just rolled over 70k this past weekend. I love this thing, and plan to keep it until it dies; judging by the miles on some of the XJs here, that seem to be a long ways away.
