jeep locks itself

Default jeep locks itself

everytime i get out the jeep locks itself. the blinkers blink and doors lock. i have to keep the remote in my pocket at all times. what would cause this or where should I start looking to diagnose the problem

Not any help to your problem but I am experiencing the same in my 2000 XJ. It decides to lock itself whenever it pleases. No trends to report, if one arises I will post. If anyone knows a cure for lock tourettes we would appreciate some help

There should be a brain box for the anti theft system somewhere under the dash. Probably fried.

Finally figured out why my locks lock themselves. The passenger side switch is gone. I could hear a faint clicking only from that side. Gonna replace it and hope it works
