now this isn't an everyday thing, most days the Cherokee will start fine, but like once a week it will start for a few seconds and then it will die, and when i try to start again it will just keep turning over and not do anything until i tap on the gas, then it will start but i have to lightly keep my foot on the gas for it to run because it will not idle until like 4-5 minutes. and it doesn't help that i have a 5 speed.

dont know if this helps solve it, but when ever it dies it resets my radio so i guess all of the constant power dies with the engine
