Default Jeep cherokee stock spare carrier

I've got a 1995 jeep cherokee, and I'm trying to get the 30" spare out of the trunk. I did some research and found out that the '84 cherokees had factory swing arm style tire carriers. Does anyone know where I could find one of these?

They are VERY rare. Ebay (Good luck!) or JY. I've been looking for one too.

I've been looking for a stock swing out carrier for over two years. The only one I have found was WAY too expensive. I don't remember just how much but I remember thinking that for the price, I'd just get an aftermarket bumper with a carrier.

The factory swing out tire carrier was a rare option, they are pretty hard to find. I'd just buy an aftermarket setup personally, I'm not a huge fan of the design of the factory carrier.

Your best bet is to scavenge the junkyards often and BE READY TO REMOVE ONE. Once one hits the junkyard, I can grantee it will be sold within a few days. Just take the whole bumper and tailgate. I was lucky enough to come across three at a single time, didn't have any money though and they all got picked within days.

There are two styles, a two-mount and a single-mount. The single on ly attaches to the bumper, where as the double attaches to the bumper and the rear quarter. this is an example of the double
