Angry Jeep Cherokee Hood Stcuk!!!

My stock 96' Jeep Cherokee Sport's hood is stuck, battery dead, and it needs an oil change. I can't get pictures, because it is not at my house. I need to know how to start it to get it on a trailer. Please don't tell me how to pop the hood, I've tried beating it and using a flat head to open it.

Thank you.

*Stuck!!!

If you need to crank it up, jump it off. Hook the negative to any good ground and the positive to the positive terminal on the starter.

As for the hood not opening, my release cable broke once and I just took the grille out and pulled the rod with some pliers to open my hood. The rod that goes across the front of the hood from one latch to the other. Took maybe 5 minutes at the most, to get the tools and everything.

Its just like jumping it off by hooking the jumper cables to the battery. Hook it up, get in, and crank it up. Then unhook the cables. You're hooking the positive up to the battery cable that runs from the battery to the starter. Works great every time I do it, I do this a lot on heavy equipment where the batteries are hard to get to, but the starter is easily accessible.
