JEEP CHEROKEE 2.5 diesel VM engine will not start blows fuses
Hi All,
Please can somebody help i have a issue with starting will not start so but a tester to Negative on battery and positive to a glow plug and no reading Of voltage when activating key and is also blowing fuses the big ones 50 amp can anybody help Please.

Ola!
I'm completely on thin ice here with you and your VM 2.5 diesel which I know nothing about, but it might be helpful to indicate which fuses you're blowing so the members who DO actually know your diesel, can direct you a bit better.

Ref not starting and fuses
Hi,
Thats the thing they are the big fuses number 2 and 3 in box under the bonnet 50 amp each as I do not have a workshop manual and in hand book the only fuses listed are the ones in fuse box in the car. I think they are relates to glow plug set up!

In the 4.0. petrol , the PDC (the under bonnet fuse and relax box) has an overview of the different fuses and relays on the inside of the cover of that box. Is that the same in yours?

Jeep Cherokee xj 2.5 diesel blowing fuses not starting
Hi,
Yes under the bonnet is that box with relays small fuses then the big one which are blowing and some where there is a problem thats why heater glow plugs not heading and starts after a while with unburnt diesel smoke!
Glow plugs were fitted minus 1 which will not come out...
