Is the compressor clutch turning on? Those old clutches will lock up or just wear out and not turn on.

No the clutch isn't turning on.

Today while driving the blower motor quit. I checked the fuse and the plastic had been melted so much it looked like an icecycle hanging off the metal. Why does it do that?
