Well I gotta question.. I bought a Jeep Cherokee 96' XJ from my neighbor across the street and it was in good shape. Took it mudding a few times and stopped because of the money I was wasting to replace parts.

But I could never figure out how I could hang my muffler back up. I tried using a coat hanger (metal ones) and it didnt work, just melted on through. Is there any special, inexpensive, parts I can buy to hang my muffler back up to the frame of the jeep?

 

You might try to use customized muffler mounts... I think it would not cost you that much....

 

muffler shop should charge much just to hang one, around here its about 10 bucks
