Ok guys I got one for you that has me completely stumped. I got in my jeep this mornin to find that my radio kept cutting off. Not thinking anything I cut my defrost off and it worked fine. I turned my ac on and the radio quit again. I got to where I was going and when I cut my jeep off my subwoofers jus got really loud? I push the button to lock my jeep and it won't lock. And I just tried to crank it and its like it's completly dead. This seems like a serious wiring problem or it could just be something simple I just really need some light shed on what it could be. Please help!

check your grounds, under hood and at your amp.Who installed your radio?check wiring there also. is there any way your power cable could be coming in contact with the frame/body of the xj?

I was thinking a ground wire I mean it just did this out of the blue, but it's got me stumped on why it was cutting my radio off like that

Have you done any electrical or any other work on it before this started? I would do like Sideways99 said and start by checking all of the grounds.
