Had the guys pull my window tint off the xj today (I have to pass md inspection) had my girlfriend pick the jeep up since I was at work and when I got in and rolled my wimdows down on the passenger side when it gets about halfway down it jumps mabey 3 times and on the way back up it slows way down about 3/4 of the way up. My plan was to call the shop on monday when there open buy honestly if they messed my window up with something as simple as pulling tint off, I don't know if I want then touching my jeep.so has anyone experienced this? I'm pretty mechanically inclined and was planning on taking a look in the a.m but ita been pouring rain all day, so I was just seeing if someone had a suggestion for me is all, thanks guys and gals!

 

This should fix it. (Go down to the black XJ.) I did mine about 2 years ago just like this, still going strong.

It only takes about a hour, start to finish.

It will make more sense when you tear into it.

If you wait too long it will fail at possibly the very worst time. Pouring rain, freezing cold.......you get the picture.

My passenger side did this one October. I rigged it up until the following spring & then fixed it.
