Hi all, I have an 87 xj 4.0.
since yesterday it has developed an issue upon start up where it struggles to run and won't rev. If I give it some throttle it may even backfire. Sometimes it goes away if I give it 15-20 minutes it will start and run normally and on one occasion I tried starting it a few times before it suddenly started working right. It also will not misbehave after it starts running properly. Only after I shut it off. But also... not always. Any ideas?
