Intermittent Clunk/pop/click type noise
So before I begin, here is a little background on the jeep
99 Cherokee classic 4.0L 192,000 KM Auto NP231 D30/35 3'' Zone lift (springs, full leafs, new shocks) Track bar relocation (re-drill) Ecco wheels, 235/75/15 tires The rest is stock. Starting this morning, I've been hearing a click/pop intermittently on acceleration a decelleration. I also feel it in the drivers side floor, as well as in the door oddly enough. If I start off easy it doesnt do it, only when I give it a little extra something off the line. I've crawled underneath and made sure everything was tight, and the tie rods/ ball joints have no play (they were replaced 2 months ago on both sides, uppers and lowers). The only thing in need of replacing or that has SLIGHT play is the drivers axle shaft u-joint, but not enought to clunk like that. Has anyone experienced these symptoms, or are there any ideas what could be causing it? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all |
Check your bushing on your UCA and LCA.
