I have a '93 XJ, my rear brake line rusted through and developed a small leak right where the flare nut joins with the rear axle brake hose. This is the single hardline that runs from the proportioning valve along the frame rail and back to the rear axle. I've got the old line removed and I'm looking for a replacement pre-formed line, but all I've been able to find is an entire brake line kit. I don't necessarily want to buy an entire kit just to replace a single line.
I'm able to locate a single intermediate line here, but it's listed for a 94-01 XJ: https://www.sstubes.com/products/win...ines-stainless
My question is- would that line also fit a 93 model? I thought the XJ chassis and frame were all the same between the first generation and the facelift models, is there any significant difference after 93 that would cause this particular line not to fit mine? Different bends perhaps?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

I would strongly encourage you to get a length of copp/nickel brake line, a couple flare nuts and a flaring tool and make your own.
the copper nickel stuff is easy to work with and doesn't rust and you'll be replacing the rest of the lines sooner than later so might as well start now.

Different size fittings most likely. If you would rather not flare the line yourself, you can join multiple length copper nickel pieces together for the desired length. You may need to get an adapter for the prop. valve side. just take the line with you to a parts store. Youll need brass couplers to join the line pieces together.
