i have the K&n system first pictured. I like it the motor screams at WOT i wouldnt have paid full price for it though. i got awesome deal on it used.

I dont think the K&N one there overpriced and kinda half *** looking theres better out there. Either the AFE one or the last one pictured

its also commonly reported those intakes lead to dirty oil quicker in jeeps, as well as lack of filtration in jeeps. the inside of that pipe and throttle body will get dirty.

jeep intakes are not restrictive to begin with. if you want to hear the noise on your 2000, take off the horn off the front of the intake

i put one on the yj that lives at my house now. they're cool, it does what its supposed to. i'd take that over a cone filter.

I have the Airaid cold air intake on mine and like it alot. I didn't like idea of cleaning and re-oiling so I added an AEM dryflow filter. Most of it's hp gain comes at high rpm's and is helpful driving in the mountains. I'm sure it'll be more helpful when I add a bored out throttle body and performance exhaust. I say go for it!

agreed, dont waste your $$ on an aftermarket kit, if you cant make something yourself or dont want a snorkel, your best just leaving it alone

im takin my homebrew off. im going to rebuild one that goes on the other side of the engine across the top or go with a snorkle? no sure yet
