Default Instrument panel swap adjustments?

We swapped out the idiot light panel for the guages, and switch to new sensors, and the coolant temp shows 260? Is there an adjustment? I really dont think its actually running that hot, but it could be. Thermostat is new.

Are you sure the new temp sensor is for the gauge and not for the idiot light?

Ya, the sensor is the one for the guages. It starts out at 0, and slowly increases to the red.
