Default Instrument panel swap

Hey guys, newbie here. Will a full gauge instrument panel from a 4.0L work on a 2.5L as long as I swap out the temp and oil sending units? Mostly wondering about the tach. Assume year models are compatible.

Short answer, yes. As you said, years must be within range to be compatible. I got my cluster for mine out of one with a 4.0 and it works great! Swapped in new sensors for coolant and oil, along with changing out the speedo to my original one to keep the miles right, not to mention the donor one had a missing gear for the odometer.

Thanks for the reply. Just so happens the milage is within 500 miles on the one I'm looking at.

Nice! A good shop should be able to match the new odo to the old one for a small fee.
