instrument cluster lost all power in dash except for dash lights

instrument cluster lost all power in dash except for dash lights
1994 jeep xj. i recently replaced my light switch. on the process of replacing the light switch i removed my instrument cluster. when i put it back in the way it was there was no more power on the cluster. what did i do wrong??
