Installing a new transmission...1 Question

Now i've asked a few questions already and asked for some tips... but now comes Intsalling my trasmission. Now from a few people i've asked and the few threads i've read. from what i've learned is i gotta install the torque converter on with the transmission and not vice versa... and does the torque converter gotta be put in a certain way?? im in the process of putting in the tranny right now so if anyones got any input or advice than please by all means...reply back

Put the converter into the trans spinning it as you press it rearward. That will seat it on the pump drive. When it's all the way in you won't be able to get your fingers in between it and the bellhousing. After installing the trans you can slide the converter forward to start the bolts one at a time finger tight before tightening them.
