The DPO removed the inside rear view mirror when he stripped the headliner out. I have NO idea where to install it or how it installs - need help.
Also, there is a plastic doodad between the visors that has a little black nub on it...I have no idea what it is for but there is a circuit board behind that plastic cover that plugs into the harness up in the ceiling/roof. Anybody know what that is for?

The inside rear view mirror should just attach to the window. You should be able to pick up a kit at any parts store you literally glue this metal doodad thing to the window, let it dry slide the mirror over it and tighten down the screw (mounted in the base of the mirror) ... at least that's how it has been in most of the car's I have owned. The only exception being my Merz, that one is mounted via the plastic molding on the inside.
Should look something like this.

The circuit board is likely for a console that was up there. some had a display for temp/compass etc.

Cool...except the DPO said there were no keyless keys. Do you know if it's possible to get transmitter keys for a '94 Chimoo.Originally Posted by Diesel

idk how hot it gets in detroit but in fl the mirrors always fall off the windshields. when i got mine this was the case so i got a mirror from a camry that screwed into the roof... i just used a visor clip hole since i took out my headliner and visors..
