Up here in IDAHO everything is larger! Yes I'm sure; I bought them and installed them. If you don't believe me look at my photo's! Oh I almost forgot; that's the largest YOU can get them in, they come in larger sizes for others.

Walmart doesn't always have the best overall deal. Not by a long shot. They have people brainwashed into thinking they do.
Do you believe the cheapest thing is the best possible thing?

Goodyear is making a tire with less materials cheaply for Walmart. Walmart can sell it relatively cheaply. But they get to resell them more often because they don't last long.

Just picked these up.. Hopefully will be installing my lift this weekend so I can run these.
I'm going from 4 mismatched tires to these so even if they do wear faster it will be an upgrade

I hate to bring up old threads but seeing as I have had these tires on my XJ for over a year, I figured I'd throw in some input.
I went from a set of BFG A/Ts to a set of these 31x10.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler Authority A/Ts last fall. They have been performing superbly for me. They did excellent in the February 2010 snowstorm here in Ohio, as I was able to fly through 15+ inches of snow without a problem. They perform well in thick mud and clean out quickly. I don't do any rock crawling, but while off-roading I have driven up steep rocky inclines on ATV trails without much slipping at all. They do well on pavement for daily driving, but they get rather loud when driving over 50 mph. I guess my only complaint is their thinner sidewalls compared to the BFGs, but I haven't punctured them yet (knock on wood). I got a sidewall puncture in one of my BFGs once. The tread still looks near new after over a year of driving on and off the road. I'd have to guess maybe they've been through at least 10,000 miles.
I am enjoying them!

if you run a 16 inch rim you can get the wrangler ath. in a 285 75 16 and thats the largest they come in i was in the tire industry until 4 mnths ago i sold and mounted tires for a living and i never got any complaints on those gy wranglers they last around 40,000 to 50,000 if rotated and balance checked evey 6,000 miles or so
for every one that talk crap about the tire at walmart, and "how cheap" they are dont have anything really real to say. the tires at walmart COST so little is because walmart buys millions of tires a year, they can sell them cheaper then and other tire retailers. i work there at a T.L.E. at walmart so i know what im talking about. most of ya'll peolpe hate on they just cause you think "o they are from walmart they are built like crap" but thats far from the truth. i install these tire 5 days a week and have never had any tires come back for manufacture defects, the only ones i have replaces were from dumb drivers running over things the are not supposed to. i bet any of the "good tires" in the market place that hit a pipe on the highway at highway speeds will fail just like a lower priced tire. walmart will not order a tire thats made cheaply, do you know how many people try the get rich off of little things they get from walmart? we do claims almost every day for people falling off step ladders they bought at walmart, having their tv break from a dvd they bought at walmart. so walmart has to watch it back for people just like in the other post that say "everything from walmart is junk" first get informed the leave a comment, dont leave a comment then get informed.

After almost a year of running the tires through Moab, Rubicon and my local lava rock filled roads I have no complaints. Less than $1000.00 for five tires when I have only needed four. I only wished that they were available in 33 and 35 inch sizes. Note I have had more traction in moab and rubicon than 33" & 37" Bfg km2's with siping. Try em before you knock them, or be stupid and overpay for your next set of aggressive at's!
