injector swap questions

injector swap questions
I have a 91 with the 4.0 straight6 and was wondering if i could do the neon injector swap i see alot of people doing or if it was only for newer models? if so is there any vehicle i could swap them out and get the mpg improvment? and lastly i have a windstar sitting around and i have seen a few people swap those injectors can i do that?
