I know it stands for bar pin eliminator. I've heard that it "open up" some options for you as far as shocks go and I now it gets rid of that little bar that goes through the eye of the shock. I know from reading in the forum that it eliminates "shock thump"

I don't have any idea what any of that means. Been a mechanic in the army for 8 years but tanks don't have that kind of shock. I understand the lingo but I'd appreciate if one you you guys would take the time to kinda explain it all to me. I wanna now if I need these.
