havn't really been on in awhile but i sold my red 89 XJ and now have a gray 87 xj limited. At first i was just goin to trim the fenders and put on a set of 31's but as you can see from the pics i have trimmed and a lift is on the way and the tires are a little bit bigger than 31's. as of right now it is still sitting stock height with just the trimming done and i have 33x12.50's on it, and yes i drove it to work today with no turning problems or rubbing, here are the pics

loved your red jeep, yours gave me the black on red idea when i first got it.

 

didn't think any one would remember the red one, but thanks. this one has got a 3" lift going under it hopfully this weekend. I didn't know if i could fit these tires with just a trim job or not but they do fit and it rides better now than it did with street tires.

 

how long you had the tires? like them alot, look very similar to mine......
