Mid last summer my ignition starting giving me trouble by not going back to off. When the door is open the damn buzzer is going, fortunately my key comes out no matter what position the ignition is in(not always great when wheeling in the dark). Is it shot and if so would it be hard for me to do on mine own?

PS. wiggling the steering wheel does nothing for it

 

mine wont go back off most the time....i just grab my shifter while in park and push it forward hard once and switch key back....sometimes that oesnt work, i wiggle it back and forth and it switches off...
